Campingpark Wisseler See - Kalkar

We are here on the occasion of a regional meeting of the Carthago-Kreis e.V. with 30 residential homes from all over Germany. the facility is very large, great and offers 500 places (including permanent campers). at the directly adjacent wisselersee ideal for those who like water. the packages in which we are standing are very large (also suitable for 12 m motorhome). the showers and sanitary facilities are clean and in good condition. because we are autonomous on the road, we do not use it. the operators are totally nice, the restaurant is recommended. unfortunately the restaurant was closed on Saturday afternoon, we would like to have something refreshed. Thursday and Friday evening we had dinner with about 60 people. the Lower Rhine cuisine is very tasty! from here you can explore the surroundings with the bike, there are beautiful cycling routes and destinations that are reachable after a few kilometers. for example, moyland or, who has children enkel, the “Wunderland” closed in the former fast breeder.
