We were impressed b... read more We stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant located just around the corner from where we were staying during our first visit to Kalkan. We were impressed by the delicious food, excellent service, and friendly staff on our initial visit, but our experience was even better upon returning last night. We decided to try the specialty Eastern Turkish dishes recommended by the family-run restaurant, including mouthwatering lamb dishes that were beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Our meal started with complimentary bread dips (hot rolls cooked in the open pizza oven and delivered straight to our table), followed by a delectable dessert. To finish off the evening, we were offered complimentary apple or Turkish tea. The staff, all members of the family, were delightful and went above and beyond to make our experience special. This restaurant offers great value for money, and we highly recommend it!

I highly recommend this restaurant for its top-notch service, delicious food, and attention to detail. It definitely deserves 5 stars. The owner's son was also incredibly lovely and went above and beyond to make our experience special.

The food was delicious and had a traditional, authentic taste that reminded us of home-cooked meals. We will definitely be returning and recommend it to others!

The waiter was incredibly friendly and accommodating w... read more After reading the glowing reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a try and we were not disappointed. The waiter was incredibly friendly and accommodating when we mentioned we were vegan. He went out of his way to explain which dishes were vegan-friendly. We started with hummus and chips, but originally wanted hummus with lentil meatballs. Unfortunately, they weren't serving cold starters due to it being the off-season, but the chef made us a fresh batch of hummus instead. The waiter even brought out a separate bowl of vegan pita bread for us. For our main course, we tried the vegetarian spaghetti, which was also vegan and absolutely delicious. The food was all top-notch and great value for the price. To top it off, the waiter offered us complimentary teas and coffees, along with Turkish Delight served in a separate dish for the vegans in our group. Overall, we felt very welcomed and well taken care of at Rose. I highly recommend this restaurant to any vegans visiting Kalkan. The food was superb and the service was exceptional.
