Ruby Chinese Restaurant in Dickson is a perfect place for great Cantonese dishes. Good atmosphere and traditional decor coupled with fast friendly service makes this a popular place to eat. The satay chicken was superb and the presentation on the plate magnificent. Well worth a visit and sure to please.
Ruby, in Dickson ACT is a superior suburban Cantonese. The provide the staples - chicken with cashews, various dumplings, the soup and rice - done to an accep[table standard and they have also a specials list with some very interesting dishes. There are lobsters and varieties of fish available from tanks, and these, as is the case everywhere, are pricey items. In particular, patrons often are family groups; children are welcome. Little ones enjoy watching the creatures in the fish tanks and they are catered for with things like pink lemonade and ice cream sundaes.Our extended family group of six often eats at Ruby, the cost normally working out at about $200 including drinks for the adults.Ruby represents consistent, reliable family dining.
Ruby does really nice food, options for fresh seafood in choosing from the tanks. It's just a bit on the expensive end of Chinese, but good for a special occasion. As said, the food is tasty though.
