Was Laurie Carter at A Bite a mag?
I was in Canberra for work and the room service menu was overpriced and unexciting. I ordered the bark sauce soup with noodles, bark steak, and a side of trip. I found the trip and steak dishes to be quite delicious, with a strong garlic, spicy, and smoky chili flavor. However, I thought the soup noodles were too salty for my taste, even though the noodles were cooked perfectly and the meat was incredibly tender. Ove... View all feedback.

What Bertha Glover dislikes about A Bite:
The food is very authentic but noticed that their potted rice is not cooked through. However, the 'cute' chopstick holders are never washed, these are kept on the table and reused. Unfortunately some people return their used chopsticks to the holders during or after their meal where contagious diseases can easily be carried over. The water glasses are not well cleaned either, used marks around the edge is still visibl... View all feedback.

The braufritte we ordered was not cooked during leaving raw food on our dish to eat. when we complained, they offered to cook for us to over 30 minutes. lesbians.

A bite' is located in the center of Dickson's China city. what met me first was their unusual selection of objects in the whole restaurant, like an absolutely enormous teddy bear near the beginning, toy wooden airplanes hanging on the deck and a bookcase fuller. the menu seemed excessively complicated to me and even two young Asian youngs took one because to decrypt the menu and order their meal. to confuse the dinge a little more, there were two large open refrigerators in the middle of the restaurant, where they chose ingredients for their meal and placed in a container. I like the concept, but I didn't have the time to work everything, and I trust even the chef's decisions more than mine. I ordered a steamed BBQ beer as starter, followed by the hearty noodle soup with brewed bark brisket' and I also added a marinated egg. the rolls and the soup were fresh and tasteful. it was a nice meal. However, I received the nudel soup first followed by the BBQ bung by 7 minutes later. that makes me angry. all the time I was there, I was the only non-Asian speaking person in the restaurant, as a constant trick of the customers came to eat or gather takeaway that is always a good sign. the whole restaurant was run by young owners who were not so interested but more interested in working out their financial resources on a table next to me. eating was good, but the customer service was not personal

It was above the price and overestimated. the menu was overly complicated. I command the crossing of the bridge shell, and it came with 2 core components missing (height and blacks,) my friend order the same plate and also lacked the same. After the hired had met 4 times, they finally came to the end of our meal to tell us they ran out. we ordered the goji-based suppe, as it was advertised as an authentic full-fledged Chinese aroma, but it was just the soup with a few goji berry that was there for an extra $2. when they finally served the chicken, it was a dry piece of chicken meat that was cut from the suppening stock by the chicken carcasse. a very disappointing experience from beginning to end.

Best Chinese food since China. Many eating Across the Bridge noodles, but we settled for old favourites beef tendon Sichuan, garlic and vinegar cucumber, sour potato noodles, etc. Service is enthusiastic, if a bit sporadic.
