Please bring back the lamb ragu!!! Thats the only reason i come here and i was so sad today to come and hear it was taken off the menu. I wont be back unfortunately unless it comes back im heartbroken fr lol the lamb ragu here was my fav food in all of kzoo. Nothing else on the menu compares in my opinion. View all feedback.

Just returned from a Birthday dinner with a friend during Restaurant Week. We were a group of 5. Service was great until it took 30 minutes to get our check. I lost my patience. I found the waitress seating new people. asked for the bill. It wasn’t till I asked the lady checking people in to find her that we finally got the bill. One of the best if not best restaurant in town! Love the staff and love the food! Great time all around every time!
Food was amazing. Great atmosphere. On the pricey side. Could be a bigger menu. Very good alcohol selection.
One of my favorite spots in kalamazoo. I like to come here after dinner downtown for a drink and dessert. the Principle has an amazing cocktail list at pretty reasonable prices. food here is a little pricier for the portion sizes but the quality is not bad if you decide to order. I also like bringing groups of friends here; the Principle has always been accommodating by setting up tables and creating a homey/cozy atmosphere for your party. Not to mention they offer social punch bowls that are finely crafted and perfect for bigger parties.

We just had cocktails. The mixologist was outstanding. We will return for food and drinks next time.
