Authentic Mexican. If you are looking for an upscale culinary experience, you will be disappointed. After said that the food is good and the atmosphere will feel you as if you have crossed the border. BIG Burritos with fresh ingredients. My wife's salad had about 1/2 chicken on it and a lot of avocado. No alcohol so the margaritas have to wait.

Pretty well known among the locals in Kalamazoo. I'm just gonna say that food is very good. All you order here is very well seasoned and balanced. I will not speak with authenticity as I did not travel enough to Mexico, but compared to their local competitors, this place is amazing. The only places I can honestly say are better than in San Diego or Dallas, but that's not fair. I'm sure there will be many people who don't like this place because it's different, but if you're one of those I love Mexican food! Guys, then at least you have to give this place an attempt, or your statement will not be credibility.

Excellent Mexican cuisine and good service! I have eaten Mexican food in almost every state in America and discovered that each region has its own flavors and trends. I start evaluating chips and salsa as well as when the restaurant offers horchata and how good is it? El Gallo is excellent for both of these and the aromas of enchiladas as well as rice and beans are also good! If you are in Kalamazoo, it is definitely worth the trip!
