Taverna O Nikos - Kalamata

From the moment we arrived at *O Nikos*, we knew we had found the perfect Taverna to finish the Koroni part of our holiday. Our first impression was right! This Taverna offers traditional, authentic Greek cuisine freshly cooked by Niko's mother. Home cooked, delicious and fresh. We sat outside under the grapes and understood how happy we were to enjoy this fabulous meal. The options were plentiful. We ordered a green salad that burst with taste of figs, green nuts and perfect dressing. The stifado was a combination of shimmering beef, which was picked with the sky! My goat's dish was juicy and cooked for perfection. Nikos proposed a wine and it paired nicely either our food. Finally, we filled our dinner with a homemade yogurt with Mom's cherry muffle. Absolutely perfect. Aliki and Steve will be back next year.

Nice taverna with grilled meats and meze, few vegetarian and none vegan options. Food was tasty and prices are ok, the staff are very friendly too. It's a but bothersome to park around the area because of the narrow roads and the restaurant doesn't have a parking.

Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Great food and then a beautiful walk around the Horio

Only hate a drink but granny village full of friendly locals

A little bit of an overrated place. Tasty food, but you can get it in any other tavern nearby. If you reserve a table you can go, if not you'll be seated on the other side of the road, just across from the restaurant.
