I was surprised, and not in a good way. First, that ube mochi was a real treat and was an unusual and positive surprise. I was expecting, based on the name and a few previous reviews that there would be fresh cookies but all they had were packaged cookies. What a horrible place. Waited 40 minutes for my food and never came. I had to ask for a refund. They charged me for the wrong order(shady) as it seemed intentional to me. Really bad customer service. No good morning, no thank you, no is going to take a little bit, nothing. The funny thing is they didn't even seem or acted busy at all, just chilling, not caring about their customers. Good dinner here definitely a locals joint, as I think we were the only out of towners there that night. I got a grilled fish plate special and husband got the hamburger steak with mushrooms and onions. Food took awhile to come out, but when we did get it, it was pretty good. Not our most favorite meal in Kauai, but legit good food and decent portions. You're sitting in the middle of their gift shop, and there were several other families with lots of loud kids here so you're here for the food not the ambiance. ;
Seriously, go here! There may be a wait, but do it. The food is fire as the kids say The portions are home sized, the prices are reasonable, and the food tastes like someone's auntie made it. The dining area isn't large, but seriously wait for a table. You won't regret coming here.
You can get desserts cookies for traveling they will also pack them for you they have great food a menu of your choice
Excellent service , food really really good . A lot of options. This place has it all, very good service, very friendly and helpful, the food is very delicious, it has a bakery and flavored coffees, and also a gift shop. It is a place that I recommend.
Local bakery with great sweets! Their pineapple fritter was pretty darn good!
