Eutopia Cafe - Kaiwaka

Quirky building with a limited number of vegan options. they have forgotten to make our pizza and have not apologized. When I mentioned it to the employee, he was answering that I am not in the kitchen, so it is not my task. the manager came out and apologized, so I updated the review. they look badly understated when they were busy. updated by previous review on 2022-02-05

This place is like a walk into another world. beautiful! and the vegan mushroom pizza and vegan fried mushrooms are delicious.

By kaiwaka we crossed that this funny caffe was stopped to visit the building. I didn't know it was on the **** and when we saw the good looking falafel salat coats, stayed at lunch. they were good... fresh with good taste. here you will find some plant-based menu and cabinet options. savoury and sweet. Vegan cheese is an option on the pizza menu that is cool. a view and a photo or two. unusually cool.

From auckland to north we drove to lunch. the number of vegan selections was overwhelming; in the grunde falafels and hummus and a pizza with optional vegan cheese and a few desserts. hubby and I have decided for the falafel and hummus salat that was delicious. the caffe itself is interesting to work with vaulted areas of eating and many mosaic tiles. for a place that apparently began as a vegan / vegetarian caffe, we were disappointed that these options had fallen so strongly, but we left satisfied with our meal.

We stopped off for lunch at the big papier-mache boat, aka Eutopia Cafe, on our way up north. There were just a few vegan options on the menu, we had a toasted sandwich each and a huuuuge chili chocolate cookie to share. Not the best cafe food ever, but satisfying enough and super glad to have somewhere to stop off, have a stretch and a pleasant sit-down before continuing on our journey.
