Contribute FeedbackSince I have been traveling more often in Kaiserlautern in recent times, and if it is late there may also be overnighted, it does not remain uneven during the Corona period, where hygiene staff shortages some hotels do not offer me any breakfast independently. So I landed in Barbarossa in the Kaiserslauterner district of Hohenecken. From the outside, the branch resembles a conservatory of 3 pages glazed in depth. Therefore it is also pleasantly bright inside. There is plenty of parking right at the restaurant. Modern interior design works very clean, with red comfortable chairs, bright wooden tables and pretty ceiling lamps. In the outdoor area of the Cafes bakery you sit under large yellow umbrellas and bright chairs, which unfortunately did not have seat pads this summer morning, so not so comfortable. Also, the terrace of the restaurant is located right in front of the main road of Hohenecken, which is already a small manko due to the rainy traffic and noise. The typical selection of bread chains cafes : breakfast, sweet particles, sandwiches, coffee and cakes. etc. .... does not differ significantly from others. On this July morning I am equipped with: Good morning Salami cheese ham Breakfast this consisted of 1 bright bread, 1 grain bread and a bread basket with additional 2 slices of mixed bread and 2 pieces of white bread, 2 pieces of butter, herbal fresh cheese, salami slices, ham, gouda, 2 different jams plus 1 glass of freshly squeezed orange juice, plus pieces of tomato juice. The coffee is ordered extra, in my case milk coffee for 3.60 euros. 11 Euro is more than O.K.
Great place right outside the back gate. I took off one star because the servers were pretty rude but maybe I'll update it with a better experience later...
I always seem to order the heiße Schokolade mit Sahne. Probably just because they serve it in a cute cup and saucer. The ladies working there are always..
