i desperately wanted schnitzel while in town and Google led me to this little gem. it was pretty empty when we went, but that was exactly what we wanted. it wasn't an indication of the food or service. our server was hilarious with that typical German humor. schnitzel available every day, especially on Thursdays where there's a special. We came in here for a beer, you can also eat here (it looked good, but we already had dinner). There were not alot of people inside, the terrace outside was closed. There was not alot of atmosphere in the bar this thursday night. 1liter...Bitburger is €6,50 thats cheap. This bar invited us because when we arrived the terrace was out and it's close to our hotel. Good food, nice atmosphere, excellent service one of our favourites! Update Aug 19 Still great. Steak night (Wednesday) is a super bargain. The Altbier is great! Update Oct 22 Schloesseralt is still the best beer in town. Steak night Wednesday is great.

Fast and very cheap lunch for 5,90 euros. Supernette operation.
The restaurant offers meals, special day with special offers for carving or steak. but it's just a wee or a beer
