We had to eat here at Merrie Monarch last week and it was incredible! The staff is so friendly and helpful and the food was wonderful! Thank you for being so ingenious and offering delicious vegetarian/vegan food! View all feedback.
What Wilson Vivek I doesn't like about Swami's Dosa Grill:
Microwaved idly, salt was too much in the masala and coconut chutney. Dosa was white and sour and was very overpriced. This was the worst experience and I will never visit this place again. View all feedback.
Thank you for the fruit, water and rice donations for the Punaheime.
Chris is an amazing chef. I am an Indian and I have been looking for someone who can actually make a crispy dosa. I have been to countless Indian restaurants that can't make crispy Dosas. Finally, I found Dosa Grill. When I asked Chris to make the Dosa crispy, I wasn't expecting much. Boy, was I wrong and blown away. Chris is a Mexican who has learned how to make Dosas. I traveled all over looking for an Indian chef to make the perfect dosa and ended up finding a Mexican chef who did it where no Indian chef succeeded. Thank you Chris, can't wait to come back again for the crispy dosa.
If you are in Kona and missing desi food. This is your best option. It's in the food court and doesn't look promising but the food is good. I would go when I am in Kona again. It was very reaonabally priced as well.
Good tasting healthy food. I had TikTik lamb and my dad had the masala lamb. No complaints. Will visit again.
Coming from Seattle, where you have great Indian food, the dosas here tasted great! Fresh and tasteful. In addition, the owner was very nice and was patient to let us try the sauces he had. If you go with family members that do not eat Indian food, they will find other options in the same plaza.
