Mahina Pizza - Kailua-Kona

Very happy with this pizza place! They make the pizza by hand use all natural ingredients. While it's not NY-style pizza, it doesn't have to... It's still very good pizza! One of the best cheap foods in the area (which are very limited). I have two slices each with a topping and an iced tea for $8 (before the top). In addition, the service was very friendly! I definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing pizza. Half thin crust with so much taste but simple. Very recommended. It is simple and cool.

The best place to eat in Kona. As far as I can say, a person waits the tables and makes the food, so be patient. It's BYOB. Great for families. Best pizza on the island if you ask me.

The owner is very attentive to the customer. She offered to make the pizza half the half between the choices of my two children, and over, double cut a few slices if someone wants to have another taste. This personal touch brings the customer back again and again.

Salad with house dressing is 5stars. Cheesy garlic bread was good, but could be SO much better if they used real garlic instead of powder. Thin crust pizza was fine... ingredients very good, crust boring (no yeast flavor). But a great place to watch people and cars cruising Ali'i if you get a seat by the balcony. And plan ahead... byob if you want beer or wine with dinner.
