I read the Yelp reviews, and some of them were really negatiw, but I did not experience the things they said. it was so much fun here and the owner was really nice. everyone calls them mama and she's so great. 12/10 would come back. Sunflowers is the best place for karaoke! There is a lot of local talent here, and even if you're shy like me, you can still sing along with everyone else. Mama San is really cool too.

We had a couple of options for karaoke in Kailua-Kona, and of the places we tried out, BAR CODE was for sure the best! Karaoke was sung thru two microphones that were passed around the place, depending on whose turn it was to sing. So we got to sing from our booth with our friends. I think the lack of stage makes this type of karaoke appealing for those who are a little shy. The other people at BAR CODE were nice and friendly, and we all had a fun time! Open late, great friendly service, great song variety! Thanks for a fun time, BAR CODE!!!
