Very happy with the spot. Friendly staff, solid home cooked meal feel. A bit too fatty on the brisket though. Pulled pork was spot on. Loved the Lilikoi Lemonade. Great escape from crowds.

Very impressed! I?ve wanted to eat here ever since I saw them open! They did not disappoint! The food is awesome! The BBQ sauce is incredible! Great outside seating. I was surprised this place was not packed! The smoked Mac cheese was very good! The cornbread was unbelievably amazing! Love it! I will be back for sure. Negative- really only one! This is being very picky, so don?t let this keep you from Going, but the food could have been a much warmer temperature! Awesome place! Aloha! ????????????????

Nice little place, just off the main tourist area. Has bar seating indoors and tables in the front as well as in the back. Be advised, back area did not have great air movement and got really hot. Ordered the combo BBQ plate and garlic BBQ shrimp. Both the pork and brisket were tasty. Shrimp were cooked well, jumbo in size and flavorful. The Carolina BBQ sauce, smoked mac and cheese and the slaw were very good.

Brisket, pulled pork and ribs were well executed. My son was very satisfied with his BBQ shrimp bowl and my daughter, a 10yo Mac and cheese connoisseur, said it was among the best she'd had. Mac&cheese tasted fine to me but I lack her refined palette for such distinctions. The macadamia nut slaw was delicious and the cornbread muffins got good reviews from my son. The service when we went was the brusque efficient type of a busy place that's probably understaffed. Not unfriendly though. When we left it seemed to have slowed some and it felt more relaxed. Back area seating was quiet and a pleasant temperature when we went, just before sunset.

Good BBQ but definitely have had better. The pulled pork was very good, especially with the spicy sauce whereas the brisket was fairly dry. The service was excellent, but it took almost 15 minutes to receive my order when there was only a party of three ahead of me. The portion size was fairly average, so you probably have to order a plate per person.
