Not fair Google. Both dine in and takeout, also lunch and dinner. One of my favorite restaurants for many years. Auntie and Grandmama are still front and center and in the kitchen. Their food is fresh and Delicious, with generous portions. If you dine in, The view is above Ali’i Drive and a great place to watch. If you order to go, DO NOT let them refuse tip. A few favorites are the curry stew, either fish or chicken... View all feedback.
What Zdravez Zdravez doesn't like about Kona Taeng On Thai:
Underwhelming food. Looks like and feels like a place of former glory that is on the downord slope of its life cycle where the owner/caretaker doesn't care anymore but can't commit to closing the place and moving on.. View all feedback.
Amazing dishes, terrific flavors. A must for any trip to Kona.
Basic no-frills Thai food. They've got all the staples and decent prices. Don't expect anything exceptional, but it's a nice unique restaurant compared to the surrounding food options.

A few favorites are the curry stew, either fish or chicken, and their Pad Thai is absolutely the best ever. If I remember correctly, they get their vegetables at the market down the street. Absolutely five stars ?

Although it looks a bit shabby, the food is terrific. Great service too.
