Shaichai Thaifood - KAHUKU

We can't wait to go back for the delicious food! We absolutely loved the lamb daal, masala paneer, chicken, lamb korma, spicy corn, and the rose-flavored drink. What a hidden gem!

We experienced some of the best Thai food ever (and we’ve been to Thailand!). After a long day of surfing, we were searching for something different from the burgers and fries served at Seven Brothers next door. We spent about 20 minutes exploring the area for dining options before settling on Shaichai. We ordered the green curry and summer rolls, both of which were authentic and delicious. We even chatted with the owner of the food truck, who mentioned he hails from Thailand, a few hours outside of Bangkok. This likely explains the authentic flavor of the food. A word of advice: if you think you can handle spicy dishes, go for the medium heat. Avoid going for the full Thai spice level!

Everything was fantastic! Although the indoor seating is currently closed, you can enjoy your meal outside. Simply place your order for curbside pickup, and they will deliver it right to your table. Make sure to try the Samosas and the spiced mango – they’re a must! The iced tea was also a unique treat!

Just ordered the papdi chaat for lunch today. This spot is in my neighborhood, so I walked. They waited to assemble the dish till I got there so it wouldn’t be soggy. Chips were still crisp when I got home. Flavors were so bright. Really loved it.
