Nyvågar Rorbuhotell - Kabelvaag

This was a great stay for us. Just outside of Svolvaer (10 minute drive) but feels really remote. the cabin was spacious and although dated, very pleasant (some cabins are on the water, others not). Pretty location on small fjord with plenty of mountains in the view. The breakfast was very good. We also ate at the restaurant which was expensive but very good quality. The staff was exceptional! Front desk person was just so helpful and pleasant (forgotten her name short graying hair and glasses), and Kai in the restaurant was extremely good. She deserves a raise.

I dreamt of going to the Lofoten Islands and staying in a rorbu like these ones for a few years. The stay Nyvagar Rorbuhotel exceeded my expectations. The staff were super friendly, location is awesome, houses are equipped with everything one needs, and breakfast was superb. I totally recommend it.

Beautiful rorbuhotel in a great location! 10 minutes drive from Svolvaer, much quieter and intimate. Very close to Lofoten Museum and Aquarium. The view is amazing, and the rorbu interiors wonderful, I'd love to live in it!!

Probably the best resort in lofoten when it comes to the accommodation, the quality of the food and the spa! Recommended!

One of the best places I have ever stayed in. Impeccable apartments, fantastic service, friendly, service minded helpful staff and the most incredible facilities. We loved having breakfast at the lodge and then returning after a long day of ski touring for some time in the jacuzzi, sauna and for a dip in the arctic ocean. Highly recommend this incredible spot
