I wish I could give this place 10 stars every time we eat there the food is very consistent and tasty. I have something different than Box #1. I have sweet and sour chicken and it was the best I ever tasted. Hands down the best place to order from and cheap. I'm a lifelong fan of this restaurant. I came to Koon Manee on Friday afternoon. Your lunch special comes with a side salad and a jumper. The ginger dressing tastes so fresh and light, the spring roll is perfectly crispy and the plum sauce is different from any other I tasted in a Thai restaurant; the sauce tastes completely home. I also ordered her Thai basil with roasted tofu and extra vegetables, medium spices, and it was delicious. The spice mirror was perfect and they offer both white or brown rice as an option. The ambience was calm, the service was fast and I had a nice lunch experience. Very recommended.
Delicious! I tried other Thai restaurants in the area where the food tasted like it was cooked in ketchup, but not in Koon Manee. This is delicious and bursting with taste. The lunches are generous and affordable. One of my favorite things is the Tom Kha soup. Where they don't jump on meat or vegetables.
? When we go to a Thai place, we always try Tom Kha soup. Tom Kha here was good (not the best though). We'll have Tom Kha back here. Pad Thai was good! Big part. To add some spice to yours. Dragon Roll was fine. ? Nice cozy interior. Stuff was good, but not very attentive. We waited long after we set ourselves. Even then we had to call someone to see us. It looks like our waiter was the manager and she had to move people. There were many locals in the restaurant. But not too busy.
A favorite when it comes to sushi. We had the Vegetable tempura. It's about $10 and you get 10 pieces with a variety of brocolli, carrot, zucchini and onion. A little sake to start off. Then we tried 3 rolls: spicy yellowtail, the emma and the sumo. We finished off with the Thai donut and a green tea ice cream. Bill was around $100. I have been coming here since they originally opened and always have a great experience. The staff has mostly stayed the same and treat each guest like family. Highly recommend.
