This Whiskey pub is well stocked with Bourbon, Single Malts, and Blends of all kinds. Limited tap choices, but I always find something I like. Limited street parking and a free parking garage right behind the place. I like the bar staff; I never sat at a table. Was looking forward to eating and drinking here and was disappointed. The Breakfast in Bed Old fashion tasted terrible. There was hardly any liquid in the drink, mainly just a really cool ice cube. From the atmosphere to the food everything was fantastic.
As usual, this place did not disappoint. The “special burger” was one of the top 5 best burgers I have ever had in my life! I highly recommend it.
Unfortunately, not a great experience. We were there around 5pm to grab a quick bite after a long day at work and it was empty as expected. Order the Brussels, delicious! Poutine, could use a little work. “The burger,” inedible! Ordered medium served well done, charred on one side barely on the other. Bacon jam was a bit toasted as well. Lack of creativity on the special burger that supposed to only have 10 for the night. Swiss burger with ranch and an onion ring. Like you can’t produce 100 of those? Server was made aware of our displeasure and was only offered a recook, but again after working 16 hours in a kitchen the day before and another 13 that day, the only thing I got recooked was my exhaustion.
The squash salad sounded great on description and looked wonderful, but was disappointing with little flavor. The mushroom risotto dish was good except the deep fried lettuce ? garnish which was greasy. Sat outside early in evening and it was as quiet and nice. No “special” burgers on menu were offered so had regular which was good but the fries were extremely greasy.
Horrible service. Sat for 1 hour just to find out the server never entered the food, so we just left. Weren’t even served our drinks, had to go To the bartender to get them. Will never go back
