Very good food. Ordered to go because they have the dining room closed for covid-19 I was very pleased. Highly recommend the Chicken noodle broth bowl the Hot box noodles. Everything was fresh, hot the unique flavors make them stand out. Chinese Thai food is a favorite of ours Boxo is in the middle. Portions are large so you pay for what you get. Definitely a new spot for take out right now. View all feedback.
What Quintella M doesn't like about Boxo Noodle:
Wasn't impressed with the food, but the ambience was nice, clean, very open and pleasant Staff. The menu was nicely put together with tons of photos and descriptions which isn't typical. The food was out quickly and correct. It wasn't very crowded so there was plenty of tables inside and out for a store front restaurant. I ordered shrimp and chicken Lo mein, it was loaded with large shrimp and pieces of chicken and v... View all feedback.
Amazing food. Lo mein is the best in this area, plus you can customize anything you need. They make everything fresh right in front of you. Their staff is great accommodating.
I stopped into this place after looking for some relatively fast Asian food that wasn't Chinese takeout on my way to the hospital to visit a client. I haven't been to Jupiter in quite some time and it has really grown. I selected this place based on the yelp reviews. The first thing is that I drove right past it and didn't see it because they don't really have any lights outside to identify the place and so I drove around the parking lot for 10 to 15 minutes trying to find it until I eventually did. The outside of the restaurant is quite dark. Not sure if they have lights and they shut them off early because they didn't feel like working anymore but I can't imagine how people find that place if they don't know it's there when it's dark. So after my long search I walk into the place it's 8:29 PM and the place closes at nine. I figure that should be no problem as I am a fairly quick eater and I really wasn't there to socialize. I get to the counter where there is a 12-year-old kid sitting on a stool. He kind a looks at me and asks if he can help me. A female adult was sitting about 5 feet behind him eating out of a takeout container in the doorway of the kitchen. So it's 829 and I get to the counter and there's a big sign taped on the counter that says if you come after 830 you have to take your food to go. What?? So I look at the kid and I say it's 829 do I have to take my food to go? And he says yes. Well I was tempted to walk out at that time but I really didn't want to try to search out something else so I had to stay. The Child showed no empathy whatsoever he really didn't care. In my head I'm thinking well I just flew into town I guess I can eat my food sitting in my rental car in the parking lot, welcome to Jupiter Florida... I ordered fried dumplings, kimchi pancakes, and one other thing. The food was ready quickly in about 10 minutes. When I picked it up there were no smiles and I asked if there was a fork in the bag and the woman who was the one who was eating earlier looked at me stupid and said no there are chopsticks in there. I asked her for a fork and she rolled her eyes but she gave me a plastic wrapped fork. So I took my food out to the car and I heard them lock the door behind me as I exited. It was 8:46. All the lights in the dining room were out and they had taken all the service things off the tables and were obviously closing the doors. When I opened up my food, the kimchi pancakes were in a round plastic container I did take a photograph. They were mildly oily but the flavor was good. Come to find out that they couldn't even bother to stick a napkin in the bag. Sigh. I can't complain about the flavor of the kimchi pancakes but there were quite a few drops of oil left in the container when I was finished. Next to the fried dumplings. I don't know what was going on in that place but what I got in that little plastic container was six wontons that you put in wonton soup that they apparently might have fried in a pan but I don't think so I think they just microwaved it and threw it in there. I haven't been able to determine whether they just serve the frozen Sysco wontons for soup as their dumplings or if they were just out of dumplings and figured this gringo wouldn't notice. I plan to go back there today and ask them about it because that is ridiculous those things were literally gross. The third item was the noodle dish, after the wonton incident I didn't have the stomach to even open the box. I think I might have some for breakfast it's in the refrigerator here in the hotel room. Thing is, I love Asian food, I love noodle bars, I love kimchi and I really love fried dumplings. I'm so disappointed at this place because it could be so much but the poor attitude and possibly the poor presentation of the dumplings really ruined it for me. I would give them no stars however I just don't think that's fair even though that's how I personally feel about them. So starting out at five stars they are docked one star for being borderline rude. Another one star for giving me fake dumplings. I want to take another one off for the fact that they closed early and they're dark as heck so you can't find it but I guess that's there right as a business owner if they don't want to do any more business. Given that there are so many options in this area alone I can tell you that I won't eat here again.
Terribly disappointed in my lunch today. I ordered the Singapore Noodle Bowl which boasts thin rice noodles, tofu, sprouts, egg, and in coconut curry broth and I ordered the vegetables selection because I wasn 't interested in chicken or shrimp this afternoon. It came out with no egg and a TON of baby corn out of a can. The broccoli and mushrooms looked like they came out of a freezer bag and that 's just the first impression. There was absolutely NO FLAVOR. It was literally warm yellow salt water. Kind of like a weaker version of the Cup O Noodles chicken flavor broth. I couldn 't even eat it. I took it to the counter and asked, where 's the egg? The reply: the vegetables don 't come with egg. No offer to fix it. Until I said, well, this is terrible. I don 't want to eat it. I asked for it to go so as to not cause a fuss in front of the 3 other customers in the store. At this point they offered to add an egg and I said sure. I opened it to dump down my garbage disposal and sure enough, there was the overcooked hard boiled egg. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but I expected a flavor explosion that is common in any spicy coconut curry broth. This was a joke. Waste of time and money. You 'll be much more satisfied with a .99 package of ramen from the grocery store. Their menu photos are VERY MISLEADING.
My daughter loves this place. I like it. Don't misunderstand, the food is good every time. There is something about the set-up that just bothers me. It feels like they are stuck in a spot between a take out Chinese restaurant and being a restaurant. Maybe they are going for a this.... I HATE that they give plastic utensils. I dislike the small selection of beverages. I want them to accept AMEX. I like the food. It is definitely made fresh. The chicken dishes are excellent. The chicken is trimmed well with no fat or mysterious stuff. The flavors are good. Tonight we ordered cucumber salad, cream cheese wontons, sweet and sour chicken and sesame chicken. Everything was delicious. The cucumbers in the salad seemed a bit droopy but still tasted ok.
