We had an amazing anniversary dinner here. Started with Prosecco at the outside bar with a great view, then moved inside to enjoy the summer prix fixe menu. Every bite of our dinner and dessert was outstanding and the service was top rate. View all feedback.
What Michael Schuett doesn't like about 1000 North:
Steak was overcooked and the potatoes and fish had an incredible amount of salt. Normally the food is very good but perhaps since it was during happy hour our food was not the focus View all feedback.
My 3rd time here and the consistency is amazing....well trained servers, food top notch flavors, the drinks did not disappoint
Seated in the bar area which lacked appeal. The food was good, but not great value. Service was slow.
We visited 1000 North for my sister's Birthday. Our server was very good. She was very attentive and made our visit enjoyable . I am not sure if this restaurant has a proper sommelier. We brought a very nice bottle of wine with us. A Plumpjack Reserve 2016. The corkage fee is $75. Honestly, we thought the man acting as sommelier we would be more personable. Not a word from him. Eek. The food was very good we enjoyed all of our courses. We split salad and the baked oysters. Very yummy. I had the Dover sole cooked perfectly. The market fish was grouper. The preparation was very nice. We wished the separated the sides on a plate inside of all together in a bowl. The Lamb chop and filet were also very good. Our server and the quality of the food definitely made up for the lack of attentiveness of the sommelier. We would try 1000 North again. Just not too quickly.
We are in town from Houston and were celebrating our anniversary. I made the reservation on Open Table and mentioned it was our anniversary. Usually when you do this, nobody really cares. However, every single person that visited our table wished us a Happy Anniversary. Absolutely the best service we have ever had I wished I remembered our servers name. Also, my New York Strip was cooked to perfection. Amazing place and we will definitely be back the next time we are in town.
We enjoyed our meal here. My son tried the Wagu Steak (highest priced item at $110). While two of us had the chicken. The meals were all great. They have valet parking outside, and it sits on the water for a nice view. I recommend this restaurant if you are in WPB.
