What User doesn't like about Nine Ten Cafe:
The storefront may not be the most attractive, and the place is quite old. The service was a bit slow, and the outdoor seating area was closed during my visit in November 2022, which I thought was a bit unusual. However, the staff were friendly. The food was decent and had a comforting, home-cooked quality to it, which I really enjoyed. Overall, it was good value for money. I would give it 3.5 out of 5 stars. View all feedback.

Sorry Nine Ten but you have lost me. Being a local I buy local as much as I can and have had meals from here before. Last time I thought quality wasn't as good as previous but gave them another go tonight. It was worse than last time. The pork dish wasn't even close to nice and I don't know what was special about the rice as not much other than rice in it. It was also very dry. I didn't even get half way through either and gave it a miss. The bin might enjoy it. Shame really because the lady serving is very friendly. Had a very strange experience here. I ordered fried rice and it was a little bland for me. Thought I'll give them a second chance and I asked if they could make it a little more flavourful. They seemed very confused with what I thought was a reasonable and a simple request and they denied to make it my way. I was left baffled and walked out. If a restaurant can't do just a simple thing, you really have to question what kind of a restaurant it is.
