The 1850's - Juneau
The 1850's
Description
A neighborhood spot serving bold, often excellent comfort food—gyros, fries, burgers and pizza—at wallet-friendly prices. Staff are friendly, but consistency and service vary; ordering depends on tablets/phones and occasional dishes arrive soggy or overcooked. The lively, bar-driven atmosphere is great for younger crowds and casual nights out but can be noisy and cramped for older diners. Takeout and quick pickup work well, though drink prices and limited traditional table service may disappoint.

My husband and I just ordered pick up and the food was awful, to say the least. We live two minutes away so there wasn't a long wait from pick up to consumption. His Gyro Patty Melt was missing the tzatiki, (no patty either, just gyro meat, so it should be renamed) my chicken wrap was soggy, and the breaded mushrooms almost made us both gag. They were crispy on the outside but the second we bit into the mushroom we got a full mouthful of water. The jalapeno ranch sauce was great, though. Overall really disappointing.
