Good food. Good friends. Good times was what the sign above the kitchen door said. I think you could say it lived up to that sign and more because I left with all three of these things. It was a very quiet, but friendly scene. The table was a nice wooden structure that gave a homey feel along with the fern in the corner barn quilt stars on the walls. The food was cheaper and better than the dairy dip down the road so... View all feedback.
What Sherry S doesn't like about Wanda's Country Kitchen:
It's just fine to dine! I'm not sure about the wine, I think the Menu will be just fine. If they at Wanda's would just take the time, jot down a few a lines! Then everyone will know if they have Wine! As for me, I have FOOD on my MIND! So tell us all and we may just DINE! Sherry Sullivan View all feedback.

It was a very quiet, but friendly scene. The table was a nice wooden structure that gave a homey feel along with the fern in the corner barn quilt stars on the walls. The food was cheaper and better than the dairy dip down the road so maybe you should just stick to the dip for ice cream. The food contrasted nicely off the cold sprite like the yellow paint on the wall did off the baby blue paint. Enter as strangers -leave as friends was the other sign 's saying. Mission accomplished, Wanda. Mission accomplished.
The fries were perfect and the slaw burger is to die for
The food is basic. Nothing to get excited about, but nothing to get mad about either. It's a cozy and homey place but the smell of cigarette smoke overpowers the smell of food. The prices are way too high, but they're the only restaurant in the area. They don't take debit or credit cards but didn't seem to mind when I had to go home after the meal and get cash. The waitress is super nice and helpful. My kids love going there because it's the only place they've ever been to that still allows smoking and they think it's cool to experience a 80s or 90s type diner lol. We don't go often because of the smoke. The front dining room is for smokers so you have to walk through it to get to the non smoking room that isn't really separated anyway.
Used to be located off the US 127 in Junction City, recently moved to KY 2141 in Moreland. When they were in JC, the cigarette smoke from the kitchen caused us to leave immediately, and we never went back there. But now in their new location, we didn 't smell cigarette smoke, so we stayed for the breakfast. The prices are VERY reasonable partly because THEY DON 'T TAKE CREDIT CARDS, cash or check only. The biscuits and gravy I ordered as part of a HUGE breakfast platter, were so and so. The gravy had no sausage in it, and tasted a bit of flour. But the biscuit was I died and went to Heaven! The hash browns were somewhat overcooked, and the sausage was, as well. So next time I 'd order both lightly cooked. The eggs were PERFECT. Did I mention the biscuits? And the prices? Service was excellent, and next time I 'll ask for the fried foods to be lightly fried.
Worst restaurant I've been to in this state. Just eat at literally any place in Danville over this restaurant. Who still has a smoking section in 2022? Gross.
