But my most recent visit guaran... read more I give Fastaco 2 stars because honestly, I love their food, as far as fast TexMex goes. I've been eating at Fastaco for decades. But my most recent visit guaranteed I won't go back anytime soon. 3 meals to-go and a kids meal cost $60. I could go eat at a nice sit-down restaurant with my family AND get a margarita for $60. When did the prices skyrocket?! A chicken quesadilla is $17.99?? Nachos with melted cheese and a tablespoon of ground beef is $12??? Even the kids meals are $7! Wow, I'm not sure how they stay in business, but as far as I'm concerned, it's entirely out of budget for me and my family for fast food.

We usually order the family pack of crunchy tacos and a few bean and cheese burritos. Personally, I love the salsa and the crunchy tacos. My kids think it's better than Taco Bell and Rosa's. It's funny how they compare Fastaco to those two! I have to agree with them. Even though the drive-thru signs need to be replaced—seriously, who would just spray paint them?—we can still see what to order. However, I do wish they offered dine-in options. The staff here is usually very good and efficient. For such a young team, they seem to work well together, have fun, and provide excellent service. Oh, and we love the funny sayings on the back of the tacos—they're hilarious!

To... read more The menu was nearly illegible, making it difficult to see the items or prices. I paid $15 for 6 tacos, which my daughter could have easily eaten by herself. To make matters worse, when we asked for sauces, I requested green and red, but we only received two green ones. We ended up with 6 tacos and 8 burritos, and the total came to a staggering $58. This was incredibly disappointing!
