The Wolf Creek Inn is nestled in the Umpquah mountains just north of Grants Pass. It has been fastidiously restored by the Oregon Parks Department to it's old grandeur as a stage stop between San Francisco and Portland. The Inn been the host to US Grant and famous authors. The service was polite. We were able to sit down right away. The kitchen isn't large but the food was prepared well and in a reasonable amount of time. The salad was made with an optional local berry vinaigrette and was quite good. The fish was fresh and flaky with good seasoning. The atmosphere is great and it's easy to imagine what it was like in the 1880's while strolling through the 150 year old orchard in the back.
