Many of the locals mour... read more Update 07/18/2024: Many things are quite similar, but the service is *no longer passionate*, and the chocolates are not quite as artful. Many of the locals mourn the loss of the soulfullness that used to make this place so special. I have no doubt that this place is making a more sizable profit since the new owners purchased the business from the original owners a few years ago. 09/02/2017 (5 stars): I 've been a customer here since they opened 7 years ago. Their service and the quality of the products here have so much passion put into them and it is obvious from the moment you taste one of the chocolates or try a sip of coffee. I also just had the opportunity to start working here while on break from college. I can honestly attest to the quality of this business behind the scenes . I have worked in a variety of atmospheres, from hospitality/tourism to federal government, and I have never encountered a more positive and wholesome environment to work in. The attention to customer service and quality product sourcing/formulation has taught me that a business doesn 't have to be about making money convenient, it can be about bringing a community together and providing artfully formulated things to brighten lives. I highly recommend everyone check this place out, even if only to drop in and chat with the staff. This is a great place for families.

Really decent coffee too! We tried a variety of chocolates, and they were all fantastic! Super clean rustic interior, that was very spacious and cozy. The coffee was decent for sure, but it was sad to see that they only had coffee that was roasted in Portland, as another coffee shop I had tried in Joseph had coffee that was locally roasted in Enterprise. But it was still good!
