My favorite place to eat. I would work there for free for the remainder of my days if I could just continuously consume chopped brisket. It is to me what grass is to cattle. View all feedback.
What Jim Lee doesn't like about Ribcrib Bbq:
I've been to several rib cribs. Amazing food and great price. But this one honestly let me down. The ribs were tough and didn't fall off the bone. The bartender was good but was so busy doing other things and wasn't really attentive to the one only customer she had. View all feedback.
630 on a Thursday night and the Rib Crib has no RIBS! So as part of 3 smoked meat meal I went with the catfish filet in its place. Very disappointing, small pieces of chicken breast, pulled pork and then a deep fried catfish. Not a good move. Service was good and the beer was cold.

Food was ok. Took 30 minutes to get our takeout order. Never again.
Made an online order for 2 ribs (Sweet& Sticky) and the loaded bake potatoes. Wanted it delivered. When it got here why did I have 2 small behind ribs that look like it came of the end. Last night my gut told me NOT to order from here but today 4/27/2024 I didn’t listen and should have known better. Ribs was hard by the way, I guess when you order delivery this is what they give you being that you aren’t in the restaurant. But you definitely can leave a review that can’t be deleted from google. The most craziest work ever! PS…Bake Potato is COLD
It was a double birthday celebration as my sons birthday was the day we went to Rib Crib and mine the day before. It was his treat and he had never been to Rib Crib. My wife and I had been to the one located in Springfield MO. This was my second time to visit the Joplin MO location.Got seated right away as we got in on the tail end of lunch. The hostess got our drink order rather quickly. But the lunch order took longer to place as she was finishing up with multiple customers; obtaining refills, bringing out orders, getting to-go boxes for leftovers, etc. No worries on our end as she was doing her best.Got our order placed as we got fried Okra for appetizer. My as on got the two meat combo as did I. He got fried chicken and ribs. Sides were mashed potatoes and gravy along with corn on cob. I got pulled pork and brisket. Sides were mashed potatoes and gravy with fries. My son stated his was pretty good except the mashed potatoes tasted as they came from a box. I concured. Lumps in potato mix maybe to simulate that of real potatoes that were mashed. Gravy was mediocre. My fries were good not great. Corn on cob was really good according to my son. His fried chicken was flavorful and cooked spot on. Pulled pork was tender but we both felt it lacked in seasoning and smoked flavor. My brisket was nice and tender. Moderate flavor but not much smoke flavor detected. The sauces offered helped. He had a soda and I had sweet tea. The tea was fantastic! The desert was free for it was our birthday. Our hostess took care of this. We got a brownie sundae with Vanilla Beane ice cream. It was very good!Certainly would go back to this Rib Crib location in Joplin. It's been a decade at least since I had been to the Springfield MO Rib Crib. Longer for the Joplin local. We were very happy we went and had a great time.By the way, the fried Okra, it was perfect and plenty of it. A lot of leftovers to be had later as we couldn't finish it.
