Legends Sports - Joplin

Legends Sports Bar is a good place to get bar food and entertainment most nights. I come here when I want my fried pickle fix. They have the best fried pickles and my husband loves the club sandwich. We have had very quick and stellar service at timesand more recently have walked out because we were never waited on after being seated. Our most recent visit we waited 2 hoursfor food because there was some sort of back up in the kitchen due to it being all you can eat wings night. We ordered aFrench dip sandwich and an order of BBQ Wings. They were good, but not 2 hour wait good... From the words of Effie Trinketin Hunger Games, May the odds be ever in your favor. ????

Burger quality average. Service was marginal and server not very attentive. Cook's obviously do not take pride in their work based on the quality of presentation. I asked for lettuce and tomatoes to be served on the side. I wish i could show you a pic of what they put on my plate, a sad little wilted piece of lettuce and a thin slices of tomatoes with a hole in the middle. I'm not sure what is going on behind the serving wall but it must be pretty good because that's where the staff spend all their time.

Didn't get enough ranch for fried pickles and the other sauce was a spicy mustard that was gross and I like mustard. The fried chicken in my salad was cold and the onion straws were too salty. The waitress left us at mis meal for her break which is fine but I was already done with the whole thing by then. Never again. My Husband feels the same way. Its back to Old Chicago joplin mo for us.

I ordered a bowl of chili which was really good. However, the bowl was not even half full. There was only about 5 bites. I would hate to see what the cup of chili looked like. My Son ordered fish, French fries and a side of onion rings. He said the fish was good but the fries and onion rings were cold, not cool but cold. Also it took over 30 minutes to receive our food after we placed the order.

May 21st 2021 we have waited for about 2 hours but the sad thing was when they came up to get our table we asked for a specific waitress and the guy said no problem set us down and a different waitress came to service across the room is an empty table where our waitresses table is at. I gave it a few months before we come in because of the covid. I need to hire attentive people it will be quite a while when we come back. They need more attentive people to do their job. This is why we go to the Riverbend casino in Wyandotte they got a bourbon ribeye steak 1299 there's a specific waiter we call make reservations and we get that person when we go down there funny thing is that person used to work here. We ordered the works Pizza, could not believe how skimpy the ingredients were compared to before especially the price.
