We dined at The Golden Dragon in Joplin today and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was pleasantly quiet, our waitress was very friendly, and the food was fantastic. There was a wide variety of options, and the vegetables were steamed instead of being oily, which is often the case at other Chinese buffets. We will definitely return when we are in town again. What User doesn't like about Golden Dragon:
small and quiet place selection was small only 1 early roll in pan and it was a little old, but waitress had them repair some more and brought them straight out of a drop suppe was delicious with the kriapies in it my daughter liked the fried rice and so on in law eaten everything quite well place View all feedback.
If you appreciate your time and money, don't eat here. That was just a bad experience. There were not many options and what they cost like cardboard. Nobody even asked about our drink order. I had to track down the waitress that went all the way around the place. I don't recommend at all. Don't go back.
I've been to many Chinese style restaurants over the years. Some good, some, not so much. I've never had crab Rangoon made from canned biscuits before. That was different.
My favorite 'Go To ' place to eat. Outstanding Owners and GREAT Food! Love the Spring Rolls!!! Have been going here from 25 plus years. Love It!

This place has been in joplin for 35 years! they love the elevated atmosphere and the ongoing FRESH buffet they have all day
