Fred Red's - Joplin
Fred Red's
Description
Part landmark diner, part pilgrimage site, this nearly century-old spot is famed for its Spaghetti Red, tamales and burgers — dishes so beloved fans drive hours for them. Hospitality is as much a draw as the food: staff are warm, regulars are chatty, and counter seating keeps service brisk. Practical perks include nearby parking and kid-friendly menu options, but expect tight, counter-only seating, occasional stale/greasy odors, and no wheelchair access. A nostalgic, unpolished gem worth the visit for adventurous, budget-minded food lovers.

Great place, been around since the 1930's. Landmark?? Good location, awesome food, environment inside is a bit stale. Staff is amazing and helpful, definitely recommend people try it.Parking: Parking was fine, and there is and adjacent lot for more parking if need be.Kid-friendliness: There are definitely kid friendly foods available, seating may be difficult though.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible.
