AWESOME! Total dive in the good way. Friendly staff, old building, tasty food. Not amazing but good Midwest diner fare. Got to try it if you're in Joplin.

We recommend Fred Red's drive-thru or dine in. We enjoyed drinking spaghetti red, cheese burgers, fries, barbecue cheese and root beer. I love the atmosphere of eating with the bar stool sitting table. The servers are all very nice and great companies. They won't be disappointed.

Saw this place on the Ozark episode of Anthony Bourdain, and since we were in the area, thought we'd give it a try! I think we arrived around opening and the place filled up fast! The staff and locals were very welcoming. Very simple and unique menu! Iordered the half and half and my son ordered the overload which was a larger portion of tamales topped with spaghetti toppedwith a meat based chili sauce and then we topped it with some Parmesan and hot sauce! Served with a side of pickles and onions!Interesting combination but we both really enjoyed it!

Haven't been since I was a teenager, I took my family and we all loved it. The taste of nostalgia. Very high quality food with excellent service and a fun atmosphere.

My son and I came in around 3p on a Thursday. Wait staff was the best! The local patrons only enhanced our time there. Quintessential diner experience! Props to the whole crew, you gals and guys rock!! And a big thank you EVERYONE keepingAmerican diners, (AMAZING CHILI), alive and well for a dad and 5yr old Jr. to stroll in on a mid Thurs afternoon and soak upsome truly authentic AMERICANA. Glad to see Joplin Strong!
