A recent visit to a local bakery revealed both positives and negatives. While the plain croissants and bagels were reasonably priced and of good size, the taste left something to be desired. The croissants lacked a buttery flavor and distinctive pastry layers, while the cookies were not as crispy as expected. In addition, improvement in customer service was noted. However, a hidden gem was discovered in the quiet streets of Joondalup, where the baked goods, particularly the croissants, were described as ingenious and awesome. Overall, the bakery shows promise but could benefit from some adjustments to enhance the overall dining experience.

I will begin to say how I did not know that this place already existed! what a little jewel on a quiet little road in joondalup. among other things I bought a few croissants, for which there is only one word, ingenious! this place is so good I can not say enough about it and of course I am back! What Ruth Kunde dislikes about The Bread Expert:
Had plain croissants and bagel today. They both are of good size and prices are reasonable . They were freshly baked so were warm. The taste is ok. Croissants in particular is not that buttery with no distinguishable layers of pastry. I also had cookies and they were not crispy. Customer service need improvement View all feedback.
Nice fresh stuff baked on premises. It's a very small shop and not much selection but what they do make taste very nice I like the croissants
