Pizzeria Davis - Jonquière

I was surprised because everyone seems to love this pizzeria, but I personally didn't enjoy it. The pizzas are overly heavy, with too many toppings and a thick crust, making them difficult to digest. I've been there for lunch with colleagues about 3 or 4 times, and I've always found digestion to be a struggle afterward.

The flavors at this restaurant are truly exceptional, especially their pizza, which is outstanding. The crispy cheese and rich sauce are what give it such a great reputation. Whenever I’m out for a while, I always look forward to returning just for their pizza. I can’t speak for the rest of the menu, but the pizza alone is worth the visit. One minor downside is the restaurant’s capacity, which is about 75 people at most. The cozy size can sometimes feel a bit cramped with everyone sitting close together. Despite that, I highly recommend this place, especially for their pizza!

I have to admit, I’m completely in love with this pizzeria. For me, it’s simply the best in Quebec! The blend of various types of cheddar cheese, expertly grilled and sourced from local producers, combined with a perfectly crafted sauce, creates an unparalleled base. Forget about chain restaurant pizzas with their rubbery mozzarella—this place is in a league of its own. Every time I have visitors from outside the region, I take the opportunity to let them experience this culinary delight, and without fail, they all want to come back when they return!
