Great spot. Delicious dishes. Feels just like being at home.

While traveling to Joniškis, we decided to search for lunch options on TripAdvisor and stumbled upon the charmingly named Happy People's canteen. Despite not having a visible sign, we decided to give it a try. The canteen offers a selection of homemade dishes at affordable prices, with the average dish costing around 3.5 euros. I ordered a chop with garlic sauce, which was tasty but unfortunately served cold. The portion size was generous, and the atmosphere was simple and no-frills. Overall, if you're looking for a cheap and filling meal, Happy People's canteen is worth a visit.

The restaurant named Canteen is appropriately named as it resembles a typical canteen where average meals are served. There is nothing exceptional about the appearance, service, or food selection. The price for a meal is around 3.5 euros with a standard menu offering meat dishes, pancakes, and soup. The taste is mediocre, receiving a rating of 5 out of 10, and the prices could be more affordable given the quality. The portions are generous, but the interior is worn out and uncomfortable, especially on cold days. Both workers and locals frequent this establishment, but I personally will not be returning.

I want to thank the staff of the Joniškis Laimingi People's Canteen for the delicious takeaway food prepared on Saturday. Although the number of portions was not small, it did not scare the team. I am satisfied with the delicious food and pleasant service. I promise to order from this restaurant again in the future. If you want to have a tasty and filling meal, I recommend this restaurant.
