The reception took place in the pavilion, which was equally wonderful. The understated yet elegantly beautiful decorations provided the "rustic elegance" we envisioned. Both locations comfortably accommodated our 90 to 100 guests, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The food was delicious, featuring a Mexican-themed buffet that perfectly matched the fun and casual vibe we wanted. A big shoutout to the chef (whose name escapes us!) for a fantastic meal. The staff at Blackthorn, led by Mrs. Jennifer Garcia, were absolutely remarkable! Jennifer was instrumental in helping us plan and organize everything in the months leading up to the wedding, and she served as our wedding coordinator on the day itself, ensuring that every detail went exactly as we wished. She even handled last-minute changes and requests swiftly and efficiently. The rest of the Blackthorn team was equally dedicated, reliable, and efficient. They worked hard to make sure everything ran smoothly. Drinks flowed freely, food was plentiful, and tables were cleared promptly after guests finished eating. No one was left wanting for anything—if there was a need, the staff was already on it! They were respectful, courteous, and even joined in on the festivities, dancing and chatting with guests while on duty. Katie and I wholeheartedly recommend the Blackthorn Club. We cannot thank them enough for everything they did to make our special day unforgettable!

I shared my vision with Jenn, and she absolutely exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly thoughtful, making the day stress-free for everyone involved. For our rehearsal dinner, we enjoyed a delicious Mexican buffet, and on the wedding day, we had a delightful lunch with fruit and chips, followed by an amazing Italian buffet for the reception. They even packed some food and cake for us to take home! As coffee enthusiasts, we were thrilled with the beautiful coffee bar Jenn set up, showcasing our wedding gifts. She also coordinated with other vendors, making everything seamless. If you want a magical wedding day where you and your family can sit back, relax, and enjoy, I highly recommend Schwarzdorn. You don’t need to be a member to host your wedding there; we weren't members either, yet they treated us like royalty!
