I got the Red Wolf salad without onions and olives. The salad was huge (enough for two people) and fresh. Everyone was friendly and went beyond to make me please with my first experience there. The Southern Chef will be my go to place for salads at lunch during the weekday. View all feedback.
As a native Hawaiian now residing in Arkansas, I've discovered a restaurant that truly embodies the Caribbean jerk and adobo flavors in their chicken wings. The taste is a comforting reminder of home, and I know exactly where to turn when I crave those flavors. It's so delicious that my husband can easily locate this place whenever I mention wanting chicken or feel a bit homesick.
The plate lunch was amazing! You could easily spend the same amount at a fast food place. This spot offers delicious food at a great price for authentic meals!!!
I ordered the Red Wolf salad without onions and olives, and it was huge—big enough to share between two people! The ingredients were very fresh as well. The staff was friendly and really went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful first experience. The Southern Chef has definitely become my favorite place for salads during weekday lunches.
Had the plate lunch with chicken fried steak, black eyed peas and mashed potatoes. Very good food and value!
Tried out this place tonight. We LOVE it. Really cool building. Reminds me of what one might have found on Route 66 in its heyday, only modern. REAL potatoes as fries, and totally in love with the Boom Boom Chicken Bacon Sub! Hubster had the country fried steak, and what he said tasted like fresh from the garden black eyed peas and real mashed potatoes. Can’t wait to try other things on the menu!!!
