The food was delicious. The salad was incredibly fresh and the sandwich was perfect. The soup has a great depth of flavor that I recommend to anyone. The service and the decor was great as well. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Parsonage:
The waffles were a little too dense. The cinnamon roll was massive and good, but the icing was way too sweet and tasted like sugar. Very little to no taste of vanilla, cream cheese, or milk. The menu was limited, yet some things were premade and couldn't be modified. It's a good restaurant to take kids to. The food was decent, but they need more unique items that can't be easily made at home. View all feedback.
Decided to give this place a try. Very cool vibe. I thought our service was pretty subpar though. The portions are sizeable but I wish there could be variations to some of the items, such as an egg white omelette or the potatoes minus the meat. Overall it’s not bad but I don’t plan on coming back.
A wonderful and unique restaurant serving excellent brunch menu items! Great staff. Warm and eclectic atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very reasonable prices. Street parking only.
Wonderful service! Great coffee! Menu is diverse enough for picky eaters and foodies! Will definitely eat here again!
My complaints about eating in college towns are always the same it seems. There is always that one completely disaffected college student working that just cannot be bothered to even pretend they want to be there. Completely ruins the experience, coupled with overpriced menus and expiramental menu items that sometimes hit the mark and sometimes really don't. Nice looking place though, Very well put together.
I dropped in at 11 Saturday morning, waited a good 5-10 minutes for someone to bring a menu. She did not seem pleasant but wasn't rude. I ordered a cup of black coffee and a water and she neglected to tell me coffee was $4 a cup which seems crazy to me but I don't really eat out often so maybe that's the standard now. My table was extremely wobbly and the surface itself was uneven, so sawing through the waffle I ordered on a wobbly plate on a wobbly table caused the water to slosh everywhere. I never got offered a top off or refill of my coffee. There was a period of almost 30 minutes where I didn't even see my waitress to ask for a refill. Overall its just little things that stuck out to me and I hate to nitpick but they're easy fixes. Fix the table, don't put freezing butter on things where you're meant to spread the butter, offer refills when my cups empty, I never got a knife, took ages to get the bill, and for some reason they put biscuits and gravy in a gravy boat which was interesting to eat out of. Will I go back? Probably. Will I go back often? Probably not.
