Spicy Hill - Jonesboro

I was very disappointed when I received my receipt and at the bottom stated 4% charge will be added to my bill using credit card. There is no sign posted in this restaurant. Please advise customers of this 4% charge, therefore cash can be tendered. I think this is dishonesty, I will not support this restaurant in the future.

This was a very disappointing visit. On Sunday after church I stopped to pick up two dinners. I was disappointed first not to see the regular cook in the back, because he always come out to greet me. I ordered two dinners. The Escovitch snapper, and the Oxtails. The snapper was very good. However. The oxtail were full of fat, there might have been one eatable one out the entire dinner. A big disappointment. I ordered white rice with both dinners, no Gravy over the rice on either dinner. True I forgot to ask to put Gravy on the rice, my suggestion is in the future ask your customers would they like Gravy over the white rice. I don't fault anyone for that, because like I previously stated I did forget to request, however the cook should have asked the server to check with me. If the regular cook/owner was there I would not be writing this review. I hope your take this as constructive feedback.

I make a special trip for their Mac n cheese. Unfortunately the last 3 times it hasn’t been good and today not only was it not Mac pie, it was burned and crispy. didn’t even fill half of the container.

Relying solely on reviews, I took the plunge, and I must say, the positive feedback was absolutely accurate. The flavors were a delightful symphony, each dish showcasing a perfect balance of spices. Spicy Hill surpassed my expectations. The food was fresh and piping hot. This experience has certainly made Spicy Hill my go-to choice for future gatherings. Highly recommended!
