BBQ pork was very dry, bland, and the sauce was odd. Mayochup? Idk it had a weird consistency, pale pinkish color to it, one of the worse bbq sandwiches I’ve ever had. Maybe it was an off day but they also heated the beans up in the microwave so idk… View all feedback.
Sliced BBQ at it's finest, love their sauce it really makes the sandwich. The onion rings were perfect.
Does not matter if I want a salad, BBQ or onion rings, Dixie always delivers !
By far the best Carolina style BBQ sandwich in Southern Illinois and a lot of other places I've been. Start with a slow smoked ham. Slice a pile of it razor thin. Grill it up so the edges are crispy brown. Stack it on a fluffy toasted bun. Order the large!
Food takes a little time to be cooked, but the food and service are great. I recommend the hog
