Andy Sophies Tavern - Joliet

This restaurant serves fantastic Polish food. It’s under new ownership, but the quality remains excellent. You have to check it out; you’ll love it! There aren’t many seating options—just a few tables—but most people opt to sit at the bar. My only complaint is that the food could be served a bit hotter. I'm confident that this issue with the temperature of the delicious, generous portions will be addressed soon.

I went to this restaurant after hearing great things about their hearty lunches, and I wasn't disappointed. I happened to visit on a day when Polish sausage and sauerkraut were the specials, and it was fantastic! It feels like home-cooked meal experiences are becoming rare these days, so it's refreshing to find a small bar that serves them daily. I can't wait to return and try their other specialties!

Absolutely incredible homemade food prepared fresh every day. The atmosphere is very family-friendly. Andy and Sophia are true pillars of our community. Be sure to check out this hidden gem of a restaurant and tavern. It deserves 5 out of 5 stars every time! The dining experience is truly exceptional!
