The decór screams Chinese but the menu thinks its Thai. There are more Thai dishes than Chinese with some pho available. The Chinese were more your Americanized Chinese (sweet and sour chicken, general tsao) so not very authentic in selection. I tried to joke to see if the cook was more Chinese or Thai but the girl taking my order just laughed uncomfortably... I asked them asked her what 's good and she leaned toward... View all feedback.
What Tami Hill doesn't like about Fried Rice Express:
Absolutely the worst Asian food I’ve ever had. $110 tossed in the trash. I can’t even describe the flavors and how awful everything was. Chugiak location Sunday night. Sesame chicken. Fried rice. Shrimp hot and sour soup. Fresh rolls. Mongolian beef all of it tossed and awful. I did not call I was too afraid to ever try that food again it was disgusting. Sticking to Jimmy’s or Kim’s from now on. View all feedback.
Amazing lunch. The Pho and curry dishes were delicious. The staff is super friendly and polite. 100% would recommend.
I was in Eagle River taking care of my grandkids, aged 5 and 8, and we decided to go out to eat. The food was excellent. The kids split an Orange Chicken meal. It came with delicious fried rice and egg drop soup. My guys were gobbling up this delicious meal. Generous portions, fresh, tasty and reasonably priced to boot. I love fresh rolls and noticed they were on the menu so I got them. They were also very yummy. The highlight of our evening was the giant fish tank in the restaurant. The kids were watching the fish and were talking about which ones they like the best. A gentleman came out and was telling them all about them. He explained what kind of water they swim in, names of all the fish, what fish family they were in etc. They were so excited. An educational experience and great food. What more could you ask for?
The worst kung pao chicken should call the dish VEGETABLE kung pao with 5 pieces of chicken! Should have driven back into anchorage and went to sweet pink peppers now that is kung pao CHICKEN!!! Don't waste your cash here!
WORSE CHINESE FOOD I’VE EVER HAD!!! $50 for two and what a waste that was. Panda Express is at the bottom of my list for Chinese food and i would eat that 100 times before I ever ordered here again. I ordered the Sesame chicken that taste burnt, ordered fried rice that looks like they put two whole sliced onions in it and taste like they used old soy sauce, egg drop soup was tasteless and the chicken Bullion wasn't dissolved. They cant even use real chicken broth for their soup. The egg rolls were obviously frozen store bought. This food was literally so bad we couldn’t even finish it. Threw up afterwards too. HIGHLY do not recommend. Was also charged more than advertised price on their website. If I could give them zero stars I would definitely do that.
Curries were filled with grease, completely sub-par, even the egg drop soup looked greasy.
