Booked today 2 big table 20 pax relative from northern kampung. Food is good. Service is usually slow due to low manpower. Not complaining yet since i spent 45 minutes catching up till the food arrived. Signature curry fish is highly recommend. Standard still maintain even in the post-pandemic phase. For small group arrival, better dine during off peak time.
Sing Kee is an old-times place for family gathering. It is pretty challenging to stay in business for many different reasons. We come here for their Curry Fish Head and Fried Hor Fun w/creamy eggs sauce 滑蛋河 , simply one of the best in town, still. I rate 5 for the persistence. Keep up and by 2038, it will be celebrating its 100 years old in business.
Sing Kee Restaurant food indeed is good and price has gone up since a few years ago when Singapore Television advertise this place. They are famous for Curry Fish Head, Soya Steam Fish(best with fish tail), Beancurd with minced pork, Preserved Vegetable with pork, Bittergourd with pork ribs, Tau Pok soup etc. But one thign for very sure the google map location is WRONG. Though address is right. They located at the junction between Jalan Chengai and Jalan Merati.
Went there only once. Food portion very small. Taste like home cook food which is not bad. Price reasonable.
Fischkopf curry and otah is a must try here. eating is delicious and cheap. restaurant is good for large groups. come back in definitiw!
