Good seafood restaurants in Johor Bahru. The food quality is good, but not exceptional. Price is a bit on the pricier side. Try to avoid busy hour as you have to wait to get your own seats. View all feedback.
What John Puthucheary doesn't like about Kedai Makan Sin Kimdo Jīn Dōu Hǎi Xiān Cān Guǎn:
Good seafood but not very worth it. Paid RM153 for a crab. Would have paid half the price at Ong Shun. Other dishes are also more expensive than other places but not as ridiculous as the crab dish. The bbq was nice bad, the chicken wing is quite unique. View all feedback.
This restaurant is known for their amazing menu, especially their chicken wings. Be prepared to wait a while as the place is always busy with customers dining in or getting takeout. The other location in the city square is just as popular and bustling. Make sure to try their special city square colored noodles with chicken, the taste is truly indescribable.
Satay is tender, a must eat. The noodle soup (Lao Shu Fen) is great with salted fish broth. Service is average.
You must try the golden fried rice at this restaurant. The shrimp and crab dishes are also delicious.
This restaurant in Taman Sentosa, not far from the customs in JB, is one of my favorite places for dinner. Every time I visit, the food is consistently delicious and worth the price. I especially enjoyed the Thai-style steam fish, which was fresh and perfectly complemented by the sauce. Overall, I spent RM 154 on this meal.
Restaurant offering outdoor seats serving a wide range of zi char items. Food served extremely fast and they are rich in taste. The mee tai mak is a must-get as well as the range of grilled loklok-skewers.
