However, we were thrilled to discover another cafe that caters to vegans - Friends Fig. What sets Friends Fig apart is that they offer full vegan meals, not just 'Vegan options'. They have a great selection of healthy bowls to choose from, and you can also create your own. While some brunch bowls may include eggs (for vegetarians), you can easily exchange it for another delicious vegan option. Their cold-pressed juices are also delicious. Finding Block F on the second floor can be a bit tricky, but the experience is well worth it. We will definitely be visiting Friends Fig again, and regularly.
Eating a plant-based diet in Johor Bahru can be challenging at times, as the Malays love their meat. We were thrilled to discover another café to add to our list of vegan-friendly places. What sets Friends Fig apart is not just their vegan options, but their full vegan menu! They offer a wonderful selection of healthy dishes to choose from, as well as the option to create your own. While their brunch bowls come with vegetarian options, they are happy to swap them out for any of their other delicious choices to keep it vegan. Their freshly squeezed juices are also delicious. Finding Block F on the second floor can be a bit tricky, but it is definitely worth it. We will be sure to visit again and make it a regular spot for us.
