The food and service are exceptional there. The lake views, and the lovely atmosphere are alone worth the trip. Theresa's review is a ugly lie and wrong. I wish I could remove it. Ignore her. The restaurant was run down and grungy. The atmosphere was terrible. The food was disgustingly overcooked and/or soggy. The service was horrible. I wouldn't even give this place one full star. Save yourself the trouble and eat somewhere else.
An EXCELLENT hidden gem in the southern Adirondacks. Stumbled upon it late at night driving in for vacation and now it is our go-to spot for a good hot meal! You MUST try the fried chicken. Easily one of the best I've ever had. So crispy and juicy that a couple heard it crunch from across the bar! The fries are also hand cut and delicious. Service is kind of spread thin, but they are doing a good job. It seems like this place is destined for great things, but right now they are still working on it. Prices are super reasonable and the food is DYNAMITE! Check it out, I'm glad we did!
Our favorite place to grub while visiting the ADK's. 1st and last place we visited while in the area bc we just had to taste it again. The fried chicken is out of this world and the filet was delicious. Fun decor and an easy going vibe. Highly recommend
Pretty awesome spot. Got the queen cut prime rib, an golly was it awesome. Definitely will return next time I'm in the area.
