The Fish Boat - Johnstown

The food was freshly made when I placed my order, and the restaurant was very clean. The prices were reasonable, and the meal was wonderful.

I wish I could give this place ZERO stars!!!! My entire experience was horrible! I called to place a to go order and the lady was very rude and kept rushing me. When I got there to pick up my order the employees were yelling at each other and if theywould of smiled, I think their faces might of cracked! I got scolded because I was there 10 minutes early to pick up my order, Iasked if I could pay and wait and received an attitude about that. While I was waiting a poor old man walked up to the counterand was looking at the menu...the man who I presume is the owner....looked and him and barked SPEAK! The 3 employees were rudeto each and every customer that walked in. I could not wait to get out of there. I 've never experienced customer service likethat in my life! To make matters even worse...the food was TERRIBLE!!!! I got chicken tenders, fries and mac cheese. Ireceived 3 tiny tenders, a itsy bitsy cup of mac cheese and a few undercooked fries. My co-workers got the fish sandwiches.They were small and I asked for tartar sauce which we did not receive. Save yourself some time and dignity and DO NOT visit thisplace!!!

I discovered this restaurant by chance and found it quite intriguing. We ordered the soup of the day (cream of crab) along with a fish bowl. It was fantastic—fresh, hot, and made to order. My two little ones and I really enjoyed it. They also had the best chips! Thank you!

The food was average. The fried oysters, shown in the picture below, were quite interesting. However, the staff were outstanding and truly deserve five stars. I gave the restaurant 1 star because when I inquired about the oysters' origin, the owner responded with, "Why do you want to know?" When I explained my curiosity, the owner dismissively said, "East coast," and walked away. I definitely won’t be returning.

Hidden over this place by chance and thought it looked interesting. We ordered the soup of the day (cream of the crab and the fish bowl. AmazIng! Fresh, hot, cooked to order. I and my two little ones enjoyed it. The best chips! Thank you.
