What User doesn't like about Pyramid's Lounge And Catering:
Wasn’t impressed. The crab cakes were sour, the fish was over cooked, the Mac and cheese had a flavorless velveeta consistency and it was first time ever eating here ugh. Save your money. View all feedback.
I had an amazing fish sandwich here—definitely a must-try! I called ahead and it was ready right when they said it would be.
My husband took the dinner on fish for Friday our first time to eat here as we are new in town. Hands down the best fish we ever had and we are native Floridians! He talked about how beautiful the venue was and how friendly and ingenious the family is there. I can't wait to eat next week! That explains why this restaurant has been so long!
Extremely disappointed! Internet listing on there website said NOTHING about take out only. After meeting up with friends and driving 40 minutes to enjoy there Friday fish dinner we were told no inside service. I do appreciate your responding to my post, and understand everything you are saying. For that I have revised my rating and overall review. Although you may want to do more to take down OR update your webpage, it still comes up with the information discussed in the earlier review. I will make a attempt to vist your place in the future.
If I could give this establishment a 0, I would. We went to get a fish dinner for Lent, and as soon as we entered I was asked about applying. There is not enough staff to wait tables, and it’s no wonder. After kindly declining the application offer, the owner/manager asked me if I was in an interracial relationship. Not only is this a very personal and inappropriate question to ask a customer, it was prejudice and ignorant against many people in the area as well. I responded that I was not, very uncomfortable at this point, and he told me good because he doesn’t hire people of color. He kept going on about the subject, completely disregarding his ignorance. I refuse to support a business that is so prejudice and extremely disrespectful, especially so outright to the community that supports them. I will never be back to this establishment, and I hope that others read this and will not support them either. Our community deserves better, especially those who are under represented.
This was my second visit to Pyramid for their Friday fish fry. This time, I ordered the regular fish sandwich, which I found to be slightly smaller than last time, featuring a single long fish fillet on the bread. Once again, I enjoyed a delicious fish sandwich, and I was pleasantly surprised by the homemade cookies — chocolate chip and a banana nut that tasted just like a muffin of the same name — offered by an employee to those waiting for their orders. I arrived in the last half hour of service and placed my order upon arrival. I had tried to call in my order 20 minutes earlier but couldn't get through. I think I actually prefer arriving late. Instead of being overwhelmed by the impending closing, the owners, Jimmie and George (he’ll know who he is), were much friendlier than many restaurant owners I've encountered and considerably more cheerful than I tend to be at the end of the workday. I really enjoy a good fish sandwich, but I’m eager to try Pyramid's other Friday seafood options, as they clearly excel with the sandwich, and I'm excited to see what else they offer.
