Had to lo... read more From out of town and looked for a local spot to eat- this place was listed and named steak house. I ordered a filet medium rare- was served well done. Had to look for our server to bring to her attention- she offered replacement- new steak came- definitely medium well... but better than the 1st one so just ate it... not to mention it was very bland- I never use steak sauce but needed it with this one. Steak houses should at least get steak right.

I... read more I've visited two Hoss's restaurants in the past six months, and unfortunately, both times I experienced diarrhea after opting for the salad bar with my steak. I suspect the germs might have come from the salad bar, as people can be quite messy while serving themselves. I chose this location because it was convenient to my hotel on travel day. The other Hoss's I visited was nearer to Pittsburgh. I don't think I'll return to another Hoss's. However, I did appreciate the prices, and my server, Tracy, was fantastic!

Mistakes can happen anywhere, but it's the response that truly matters, and this turned into a five-star experience. The service was excellent, and the food was of high quality.

When I asked her a simple question, she snapped at me and was quite dismissive. I don't plan on returning and will definitely advise my family and friends to avoid this place.
